<H1>2009 NonProfit Partner Less Than a Million Dollar Budget -- National Women's History Project Shopping Cart</H1> 2009 Nonprofit Partner Less than 1 Million Dollar Budget 2009 National Women's History Month Partners Join the National Women’s History Project in making women’s historic contributions visible throughout 2009  The theme for 2009 National Women’s History Month is  Women: Taking the Lead to Save Our Planet We are eager to work with women's organizations throughout the country to identify, recognize and celebrate women who are/have taken the lead to save the planet. 2009 Partnering Organization are asked to nominate women from their organization, or community, state, or international consideration. We will be posting all the names and descriptions of nomineees on our websight starting in early September.  The deadline for nominations is December 31, 2008. As part of this year's promotions, we will be encouraging 4th grade teachers to use the list created by all our partners, members, and supporters as well as the curriculum we will include from environmental sites as the basis for their state history curriculum. We will post the nominee list by state to make it more useful in teaching state history. 2009 Partnering Organizations are asked to identify potential teacher that might be interested in participating and send their contact information to the National Women's History Project so that we can tell them about this curriculum project. 2009 Partnering Organizations are asked to work with other organizations to hold a special event in March to recognize and honor some of the 2009 Honorees. The more organizations who become 2009 Partners, the more successful and far reaching our combined effort we will be. As a 2009 Partner, your organization will have all the following opportunities: *Acknowledged as a 2009 Partner on our website with your logo and mission statement  linked from our website to yours.
