Late harvest German wines are normally on the noble-sweet side, but this 2004 Chardonnay is a very rare, very dry (off-dry, because you taste the fruit, i.e. Citrus fruit). Beginning with fully ripened grapes, it was crafted in the German style using a “no oak” storage process. The result is a beautifully clean, straight-forward Chardonnay.
