A ripe, fruity German red, this rare Dornfelder is our #1 best selling wine from our award winning winery in Germany. It has intense dark cherry color and an aroma reminiscent of forest fruits and elderberries. The taste starts out with lots of sweet berry, but before you can say fruity, the tannins come in and provide for a soft, dry finish. Surprise good friends with a glass served cold in the summer or winter, best cool, great at room temperature. Perfect with cheese, pasta w/red sauce and family dinners when dry and semi-dry wines should be on the table.
