Playing Peacetown is a fun and engaging way for children to learn important skills that help them prevent and solve disagreements. The Peacetown gameboard has two sides. On one, children learn basic conflict-resolution skills, such as apologizing, compromising, and sharing; on the other, they learn deeper skills, such as taking responsibility for their actions, respecting differences, and communicating feelings. Both sides present conflict vignettes that players must use their new skills to solve.
Two to six players, ages 7 to 12.
