2005 Vertigo
Vertigo is one of a pair of new blends for 2005. Grenache-dominant, the wine is enhanced with earthy, woodsy Syrah and smoky Mourvèdre to create a European-styled wine with plenty of elegance and refinement.
A firm, structured wine of exceptional aromatic clarity, the Vertigo shows off cherry, fresh grape, and wild berry characters in the nose, underscored by the heady scent of forest floor. In the mouth, the flavors unite with a dense and silky texture that leads into a lingering finish.
