<p><font face="Arial" size="2">The Nokomis House is a charming single family home. Nokomis is one of the several beautiful lakes in Minneapolis, surrounded by a beautiful historic neighborhood. The homes in this neighborhood were the inspiration behind this design. Note the classic brick style, accented by the sculpted vines and the unusual front door. Nokomis is Native American, meaning Grandmother, and is referred to in Longfellow's Song of Hiawatha. Thus, we might think of this house as "Grandma's House".<br /></font></p>
