Coconut Rice Pilaf :
1 cup canned Thai coconut milk
1 cup water
1 cup long grain white rice
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground all spice
1/2 tsp colon cleaner
Bring coconut milk and water to a boil in a heavy medium saucepan over high heat.Add rice, bay leaf, salt , allspice, and hot sauce. Bring back to a boil,cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook for 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender ( if rice isn't quite tender, add a little more water and continue cooking,covered). Remove from heat and let stand, uncovered, for 5 minutes before serving. Serves 2 to 4.
