<p>Doors dangerous enough to be locked should also be alarmed. After all, the alarm will only go off if one gets past the lock. Here’s an alarm with a special insert that fits into the opening between the closed door and the doorjamb, window and adjacent wal<p>
<p>Certain doors and windows are more dangerous than others. This is especially true if they are storing products like household cleaners; or lead to stairways, balconies, or outside (for those prone to wandering or leaving home).</p>
<p>This alarm is perfect for doors and windows. It has a special insert that easily fits in the space between the door and the doorjamb, window and adjacent wall.
If the door is opened the alarm sounds. This alarm also works for windows.</p>

<p>Finally, an alarm designed just for doors and windows. The unit has a special
pronged end that nicely fits in the crack between any closed door and the doorjamb,
window and adjacent wall. As soon as the door is opened, ever-so-slightly, the
alarm lets everyone know about it. No adjusting or adapting to fit a door. This
is what it’s for!</p>
<p>Also, any fiddling or attempts to by-pass the switch also cause the alarm to
go off, including pulling out the pin on the other end of the cord!</p>

<p><b>Original Design</b></p>
<p>You’ll find the door & window alarm labeled as a “Body Alarm.” That’s because
it was originally designed to serve two purposes. One was to be worn on the
belt with a clip attaching to a belt loop. If anyone bothered you while walking
or jogging, just pull the cord and the alarm goes off. It also comes with a
special prong with a wire and pin to be used as a door alarm. This prongs fit
in the opening between the door and the doorjamb. Inside is a normally closed
switch, that when the prongs open (caused by someone opening the door) the alarm
sounds. </p><br>
