American Touring Specialties was founded on our T-56 install kit, and it has helped thousands of enthusiasts effortlessly bolt in the T-56 six-speed transmission into their early model GM muscle cars. Each T-56 install kit is comprised of all the custom fabricated pieces needed to bolt in either an LT1 or LS1 style T-56 to most Chevy small block, big block, and LSX engines. We have even developed kits to allow an LS1 style T-56 to bolt to the Buick-Olds-Pontiac style of engine blocks. The kits include the 3-piece tubular crossmember kit; the firewall mounted hydraulic bracket, modified GM hydraulics, and where needed, block to bellhousing adapter plates. Also included in our kits is a CD-ROM install video, taking the installer through every step needed to go from an automatic equipped car to a T-56. No need to swap to exotic bell housings, or convert to mechanical linkages, the ATS T-56 install kit allows you to bolt in the six-speed the same way the factory intended you to.</P>
