RS-232 control sequences are also transmitted on the same Cat.5/5e or Cat.6 cables which allow remote control of distant devices. The 1T-CT-454 receiver supports distances of up to 150M (500'). The receivers provide for Equalization and Gain adjustment. The system supports the DDC2B/EDID protocol which, when used with a DDC2B/EDID monitor, provides for automatic resolution detection for the remote monitor.
