This Signature Series 2006 Dornfelder has been barrel-aged for six months and crafted in limited quantity. Beyond red, this wine is so dark and deep in color it stains the glass. Big red and robust flavors of berry and licorice, with<BR>firm acidity and integrated tannins. This wine is nice and big, but not as bold as the #3 barrique style Dornfelder. Very balanced and round, bolder than Merlots & Pinot Noirs, deeper flavor than our #2 Dronfelder (stainless steel, unoaked red), an excellent flavorful red for big red wine lovers which like to find balance and harmony in their dark berry flavors. <BR>Decant before serving if possible. Every 15 minutes more aerating the better it is. Best with food or enjoy by itself.</P>
