What you get is a large 6" nail and 4" piece of rubber tubing. The nail may be examined. With no switching the nail is placed in the rubber tube and then BENT at a 90 degree angle and back again. It is removed from the tube to be found unharmed. Now, here’s the rub. The tube thing is ok, but I have found a 10 times better routine based on an old spoon bending effect. What you do is display the nail and then WITHOUT putting it in the tube and holding it in full view, you let the nail appear to melt in the center and bend slowly to about 60 degrees in angle. You then take the nail in both hands and bend it back. It can new be set out for examination.
