Each unit shall consist of three parts: the main body of the bathtub so as not to have any joints or seams, <ol> <li>a front skirt glassed to the main body, </li> <li>a door with operating mechanism to complete the unit. </li> </ol> They shall meet or exceed all ANSI, HUD, FHA requirements/codes governing Fiberglass Reinforced Plumbing Products, and designed to be ADA compliant. They shall be tested and certified at the National Association of Home Builders Research Center, and comply with BOCA, ICBO, and SBCCI for certification. The manufacture shall also be registered with the FDA for classification as a medical device. Model #6042 (center Drain Only) shall measure 60” long, 42” wide, and 24.5” high, with a door opening of 24”, and 2” threshold. It shall be available with a right hand drain only (door opens over drain), and optional full skirt for access on three sides. It shall include a curved 10” high bench style seat.. <ul> <li>All models shall be suitable for recess in the floor 3” so as to present a ZERO threshold, or may be mounted on top of the floor. </li> <li>Both the drain and overflow receptacles shall be factory bored. </li> <li>All mechanical hardware including screws, nuts, bolts, and washers shall be stainless steel for lifetime use. </li> <li>The aluminum hinge shall be of a gear configuration for added strength, and easy door removal should it ever be necessary. </li> <li>The gasket material shall be of a quality and density as recommended by NASA for water integrity. </li> <li>The floor shall feature a slip resistant surface. </li> <li>Standard colors shall be White or Bone/Almond. </li> </ul> OPTIONS: Whirlpool & heater ( whirlpools feature a  1hp pump with color matching or chrome adjustabler jets), matching Acrylic wall surround (three piece or one piece), assist bars, hand-held shower wand, rim mounted hand-held shower wand, full line of decorator colors (white and bone/almond are standard).
