It is a blend of our best Syrah; 57% Davis Vineyard and 43% Lombardi Vineyard. These produce a rich dark wine with aromas of plum, black sherry, briar, and root beer. Aging for 20 months in French and American oak adds an enticing bouquet of toasty vanilla, sweet spice, and custard. A bold, full-bodied wine with ample tannin and lasting cherry and berry flavors, our Syrah will pair well with spicy dishes, barbecue, or wild game. I hope you enjoy this wine as much as my family and I do. We recommend cellaring this wine for three months before enjoying.
