Huge nose! wow, this smells like a Marie Callenders cherry or rhubarb pie, complete with vanilla-accented pie crust. Crushed berries, rose petals, and melted milk chocolate, too. On the palate it is suprisingly lithe, graceful and smooth...tannins kick in at the end, but very soft even now and full all the way from front to back. Very juicy and creamy. Finish is long and spicy...toasty vanilla, pie crust and berry syrup. Excellent and BETTER than the 2003.
