2005 David Arthur Cabernet Sauvignon For the 2005 vintage, the blend is 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc - it varies somewhat from vintage to vintage. This wine is showing the deep, intense, "teeth-staining" characteristics we have come to expect from David Arthur's Pritchard Hill fruit. Surprisingly smooth and silky for its age, this blend is rich and fruit forward with flavors of plum and cherry. A hint of black tea on the finish. Possesses a distinct terroir character that is pure David Arthur.
from the winery website: Planted in 1978, the David Arthur Estate Vineyards are located on the top of Pritchard Hill, overlooking the Napa Valley.
