Our "En Casa" (At Home) series represents good value in wines that are meant to be enjoyed with friends and family; these wines are not available to retail or restaurant accounts. Our 2005 En Casa Syrah, grown in the neighboring Napa Valley, is blended with small amounts of Grenache and Petit Sirah, emulating the traditional blends of the southern Rhone region of France. With ripe fruit flavors of pie cherries and black plum touched by a hint of peppery spice and a modest amount of oak influence, this forward young wine should gain nuance and complexity over the next 2 years and drink well for at least the next 3-5 years beyond. 76% Syrah 19% Petit Sirah 5% Grenache Alc: 14.6% TA: 6.6 G/L PH: 3.79</P>
