Its name is derived from the <BR>terraced vineyards from which it came. This is a pure <BR>expression of the red slopes in the eastern hills. The color <BR>is darker, verging more toward the purple/red than its sister <BR>wine. Deeper, darker aromas predominate as well, with <BR>blackberry, chocolate and black currant filling the glass. <BR>The palate has a more assertive grip with black cherry on the <BR>entry leading to a more angular finish of blueberry and <BR>graphite.
