Singer John Wetton was replaced by ex-ELP singer/bassist Greg Lake after Asia's second album, ALPHA, but, by ASTRA, Wetton had magically returned, while guitarist Steve Howe was nowhere to be seen (going on to form another prog-rock supergroup, the short-lived GTR).ASTRA became a fan favorite over the years on the strength of such standouts as the hopeful rocker "Go," and the majestic "Voice of America."
