Once attracted by the irresistibly sinister Neon Park album cover illustration, the new owner has to play it. And once again, unless you are already familiar with this wacky genius, the results can be challenging. From the perplexing Germanic interlude of the opener, 'Didja Get Any Onya?', to the complex xylophone changes of 'The Eric Dolphy Memorial Barbecue', Zappa's music should always have been played loud. As background music at a normal volume it serves only to irritate, except for almost normal rock tracks, such as the interpretation of Little Richard's 'Directly From My Heart To You'.
