Adamantine, the new album from Bill Forth, might best be described as post-modernist improvised music with balls. With touch points ranging from ambient to minimalist counterpoint, its spatial atmospheres and chiaroscuro textures stun, lull and amaze. Includes guest appearances by Pat Mastelotto (percussion) and Jeff Gauthier (violin). Produced by Ronan Chris Murphy.
