2005 Grenache
Grenache is one of the most difficult but rewarding varietals that we work with. This vintage, blended from three of our favorite Paso Robles vineyards, was generous in both flavor and concentration.
The 2005 has an intense ruby color. There are aromas of plum and pie cherries with dusty notes of cocoa and smoke. It’s juicy and full in the mouth, where the soft, lush tannins are balanced by opulent fruit and bright acidity. Hints of minerality carry into a clean and sustained finish.
