2006 Grenache Rosé
The 2006 Grenache Rose is a dry, French-style Rose that complements all types of food as well as being a delicious aperitif or afternoon poolside quaff. The wine shows complex, fruit-driven aromas of heirloom melon, citron, and fresh peach. In the mouth, crisp acidity sets off flavors of sweet cherry and pomegranate. A small addition of Syrah perfects the light salmon color and adds an interesting note of exotic passion fruit to the nose.
