2006 Blanc du Rhône
A slight variation from the 2005 Blanc du Rhône, the 2006 features the addition of Grenache Blanc, which helps maintain the crispness of this soft, silky wine. These four varietals marry beautifully, mingling their characteristics to show fruity, spicy, and mineral aromas on the nose, and coming together in the mouth, along with a small amount of new French oak, to form an incredibly full, creamy, vanilla-laced palate. Aromas of apple blossom, mango, and honey continue through the flavors, balancing the richness with a long, persistent finish.
