A fresh bouquet of raspberry vine-fruit and spice, come out strong in the nose. Classic blackberry and clove flavors are followed by a well rounded and jammy finish. The taste of this wine is as purple as its label. Well integrated tannins and heavy mouth-feel pair the Ficklin Zinfandel perfectly with pot-roast, lamb, or a hearty stew.
