<span style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 16px;"></span>This wine is a true classic-style Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas of cherry and blackcurrant develop well in the nose. Nicely integrated flavors of black fruit, cassis, cocoa and vanilla dominate the palate, with slight notes of cigar box. With well-defined structure and soft tannins, this medium-bodied wine has a lingering finish that is distinctly Cabernet. Pair this wine with roasted meats, Mediterranean fish dishes that feature olives, capers and hearty, flavorful sauces. This wine is also an excellent complement to richly flavored Italian dishes. <br /><br />2004 was a spectacular vintage for Cabernet in California, the best since 2000, particularly in Napa Valley. Conditions were basically ideal all the way through harvest. Crop size was reduced which helped ripen the fruit earlier. Smaller berries gave wines of deep color and concentration with beautiful balance and supple tannins.
