Winemaker's Notes
We added a new twist to Julia's personality in 2007. Our Julia's Vineyard Pinot Noir is now sourced from the two differnt sites in the cambria Estate: Block B4, our historical source where the rows have east/west alignment; and Block B3, a new site with north/south aligned rows. The addition of the B3 Block has added a bit more intensity and muscle to our Julia's because the fruit zone sees more sun exposure each day-resulting in thicker skins on the berries. This wine displays red berries, Royal Anne cherries and cardamom, with a mocha, chocolate malt middle and sweet oak finish.-Bill Wathen

92 Points- 2007 Pinot Noir, Julia's Vineyard
Dark, full-bodied and rich. Defines a heavier, riper style that's almost like Grenache. Floods the mouth with black cherry pie filling, plum sauce, beef jerky, pepper, vanilla and sandalwood flavors. Good acidity provides vitality and zest. Could develop further complexities beyond 2009.-S.H
