The Sea Smoke Vineyard continues its role of producing the most stellar pinot noir grapes in the Santa Rita Hills appellation. The 2006 vintage was harvested in four different lots, all in absolute pristine condition, from mid-to-late October. Each lot was fermented individually in oak or small stainless steel open top fermenters. This wine underscores what we know of the Sea Smoke personality: deep, bold blackberry and boysenberry spice and smoke.
