Our 2006 Villa Emile Merlot is produced from grapes grown in California’s North Coast region. The wine opens with inviting black cherry aromas with a touch of spice. The interaction between the jammy fresh fruit and subtle oak adds hints of cedar to the nose. The dark fruit essence continues across the palate—complemented by bold approachable tannins and a mouth filling finish. This Merlot has a distinctive lingering quality that pairs equally well with spicy pasta dishes, beef steaks or rich cheeses.
