If you're rebuilding your engine you should consider a hotter cam. It will make a difference you can feel. Our 284 regrind will work well with both carbs and fuel injection. We also have available a more aggressive 292 grind at the same cost. The 292 grind requires either lash caps or oversize excentrics (we have both). We also have Schrick cams but the cost is a bit more. Specify model and year as carb and FI cams have different sprocket mounts. There is a $160 core charge on these cams. Note: Reground cams are made on good used factory cams. There may be some minor scratches on bearing surfaces that do not affect the end use.
