They are 3 into 1 type with a set for the front 3 cyl and a set for the rear 3 cyl with 1.5" primaries. The primary tubes are short (about 16") which makes installation easier. They come with 2" diameter down pipes to connect to the stock exhaust system. Some simple fabrication is required to make the connection to the existing exhaust. The stock downpipes need to be cut just ahead of the catalytic converter, and the header's downpipes slip fit over their O.D., unlike other systems which slip fit to the I.D. These are a well made but inexpensive alternative to other systems on the market. These are available ceramic coated for an additional $120. Picture shows the headers with the ceramic coating. We recommend installing these using the heat shield gasket listed in this catalog section. FAQ-- These will fit the 325e. The "e" exhaust merges into one pipe in front of the cat. You will need to install a "Y" in front of the cat to adapt the two down pipes to the cat.
