<i>From the library.</i> This fine, claret style Cabernet was grown at our Valley View Vineyard, east of the Santa Ynez Mission, near the Santa Ynez River. Aged in 50% new French oak for 18 months, it was then blended with a small amount of Merlot (<5%) and Cabernet Franc (5%) just prior to bottling for smoothness and complexity. Ripe blackberry spice, black currant and black tea elements make this an excellent choice for beef, lamb and hearty dishes.</P>
