Humberto Gonzalez produced this lot on his farm El Patico, which is situated at 1886 meters above sea level in the Department of Huila. He is a member of Las Acacias growers association and the Familias Guardabosques.(forest keeping families) Both associations are committed to sustainable growing practices and preservation of native forests. Gonzalez carefully manages the harvest of his 100% Caturra varietal beans to ensure only ripe fruits are picked. The coffee is washed processed, traditionally fermented in tanks, and finally dried in beds under a parabolic greenhouse. This Colombian has syrupy body, with notes of cherry, strawberry, and brown sugar.
