Originating in Galicia, in the cool northwest corner
of Spain, Albariño has long been considered Spain’s
premier white wine grape. York Mountain is proud to
be one of the very few producers in California of this
distinctive, aromatic wine. We believe we have found
an ideal location in Edna Valley to grow Albariño.
Our 2006 Albariño has intense stone fruit aromas of
peaches and apricots complemented by lemon-lime
vibrancy. This rich and concentrated rare wine is an ideal
partner for the fresh catch of the day.
