Widely planted throughout northern Italy, especially Fruili, Trentino and Alto Adige, the finest Pinot Grigio wines come from low vigor sites. Our Pinot Grigio is a combination of three low yielding vineyards. The grapes are hand-harvested, chilled, and then gently whole-cluster pressed to retain the bright fruit character and fresh, floral aromas. The juice is fermented in a combination of new and seasoned French oak puncheons (500 liters in size), and temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Four to five months after harvest, while its youthful characteristics are at their peak, the wine is bottled.
