This seventh vintage from Hoopes Vineyard reconfirms their commitment to producing the highest quality wines and the interesting distinctive quality of the fruit. The Hoopes vineyard is located in the Oakville Appellation in loamy soil. Winemaker Jason Fisher and his team hand picked only rows with the highest quality fruit.
If you enjoyed the 2005 vintage, you will love the supple and rich 2006. Characteristic of Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the Oakville Appellation, this wine displays red cherry notes, bright acidity, and youthful tannins. Lean and approachable, with ripe fruit and baking spices and a long lingering finish, this wine will compliment most meals or be a star on its own. Drink now until 2016.

Hoopes 2005 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon -- If definitely Oakville-like in its youthful firmness, this fine Cabernet is even more so in its signature display of red cherry, red currant, red plum and mineral fruit tones and in the synergy generated when that fruit is coupled to the vanilla-baking spice richness of oak. The result, in this case, is a wine that is claret-like in structure, with a lean and youthful mid-palate feel, but with fine . . .
Hoopla 2007 Chardonnay -- 2007 Hoopla follows 2006 with the same clean, pure varietal expression of the grape. This wine shows green apple, fig and a light touch of yeasty notes. On the palate the wine delivers fresh, clean flavors of apple and citrus with a note of all-spice on the finish.
Hoopla 2007 Sauvignon Blanc -- The 2007 Hoopla Sauvignon Blanc is light-bodied and refreshing with bright acidity. Floral aromas open up to a mouth-watering palette of grapefruit, Asian pear, and lemon zest. Pair with oysters, seafood, or enjoy as an aperitif.
