The 2006 Napa Valley Marianna is our winery's seventh release of this Bordeaux style red wine. It is a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. A ripe, rich wine, with overtones of currant, cedar, and blackberry flavors combined with medium tannins, gives this wine a Bordeaux-like personality. Extremely smooth with a hint of earthy tobacco and coffee, creates another layer of complexity. Would pair quite nicely with any type of roasted meat especially an herb grilled leg of lamb. Open one hour before serving.
