Michael Pozzan Winery, 2006 Maitresse Late Harvest Semillon -- This is an elegant dessert wine. It is intensely perfumed with orange blossom, lychee, and candied fruit notes. Medium in body, there are rich layers of sweet fruit and baking spice. The grapes sourced for this wine were infected with Botrytis, the Noble Rot, and thus, the wine has a long honeyed finish. Enjoy on its own or to compliment a summer, fruit-focused dessert. Keeps well when refrigerated.

This medium bodied fruit forward Chardonnay has bright flavors of lemon, apricot and fig. There are delicate pineapple and vanilla overtones that develop as the wine opens up. It has a soft mouth feel and a silky finish.

This is a full-bodied Cabernet with layers of complex dark fruit. Ripe and smooth in texture with concentrated flavors of plum, cedar, and anise. Well-focused tannins balance perfectly with the rich fruit. It would pair quite well with a roast lamb, barbecued rib eyes, or grilled garlic pork with fresh herbs. 10,000 cases produced.

Michael Pozzan Winery, 2007 Annabella Pinot Noir -- This wine has great extraction and depth with tasty plum and black cherry flavors. It has a dusty, ripe nose with an intricate, earthy finish. Soft, supple with wonderful concentration and medium tannins. Nice toasty French oak in the nose and palate. Will drink well over the next 4 years.
Michael Pozzan Winery, 2004 Gold Series Reserve Merlot -- This is a big, ripe Merlot with overtones of black cherry, plum fruit and a little dusty currant. Medium tannins allow this wine to drink well over the next 3 to 4 years. Good fruit in the mouth and nose, which gives it a long, silky finish. The acid is balanced with lush fruit and there is an abundance of new oak in the nose. Open one hour before drinking to give the fruit and oak an opportunity . . .
