The wine is massively fruity on the palate, with gripping tannins that seem buried in its layers of dark cherry, Cassis, baking spices, espresso beans, vanilla and sweet forest herbs. The finish is ultra-long and never less than deeply fruity. This already attractive bottling may be 10-15 years from its peak, and like it's 2002 and 2005 siblings, it will vie for the wine of the vintage. 560 six-packs produced.
