The Chardonnay was harvested in Sept., hand sorted and whole-cluster pressed before fermenting in 100% French Oak &#8211; 40% new. It was barrel aged on the lees for 6 months. 100% Persephone Vineyard, 100% Chardonnay. <br><br><b>Sensory Description:</b> Pale straw yellow in color. On the nose, enjoy aromas of citrus, pear, pineapple and vanilla with hints of toasty oak. The full mouth feel and lovely round mid-palate from the &#8220;sur lie&#8221; barrel aging give way to subtle hints of spice and fruit.
