The 2007 Estate is definitely one of our most impressive Pinot Noirs to date. It has seemed almost complete from day one. The color is a deep, dark crimson. The aromatics are rich, full and focused with highlights of boysenberry, black cherry, rose petal, toasted almonds and cloves. On the palate the tannins are broad and intense, yet still gentle and velvety, displaying the perfect ripeness of the tannins in a great year. The wine has a lot of weight on the palate, and the acid balances out the long finish. Decant when young. This wine is great now but also has a very long life ahead of it.</P>
