The Merlot is produced solely from our estate vineyards where yields are typically as low as 1.5 tons/acre. After fermentation, the wine undergoes extended skin contact prior to aging for more than 2 years in French oak barrels. Our 2004 estate Merlot has ripe plum, cherry and blackberry flavors with hints of cassis and cedar.
