In the Piedmont region of Italy, a Dolcetto is often found on restaurant tables because the grape’s berry and spice flavors and natural acidity make them a natural accompaniment for meals. Dolcetto is winemaker Alessio Carli’s favorite varietal – no doubt because he is also quite comfortable in the kitchen. Our Estate Dolcetto features ripe plum and blackberry flavors with undertones of almond and licorice. The wine is full-bodied with soft tannins and a lingering finish.
