<H1>Quady North Cabernet Franc 750ml -- Quady Winery Shopping Cart</H1> 2006 Cabernet Franc - From the Quady family's Southern Oregon winery, this bottling possesses exciting aromas of cinnamon, violet and beefsteak, and a sublimely rich mouthfeel that is a signature of our wines. <IMG SRC="https://store.nexternal.com/quady/images/cabfranclabel.jpg" ALIGN=right ALT="Quady North Cabernet Franc 750ml" NAME="Quady North Cabernet Franc 750ml" BORDER=0 HSPACE=10> Cabernet Franc often suffers criticism for being overly herbaceous, but the slow ripening that occurs in the Applegate seems to eliminate green notes. This bottling possesses exciting aromas of cinnamon, violet and beefsteak, and a sublimely rich mouthfeel that is a signature of our wines. With over two years of age, this wine is certainly capable of current enjoyment, but will continue to develop in the bottle over the next 10 to 15 years. The 2006 vintage is sourced entirely from the vineyard of the late Frank Ferreira (he passed away in October of this year). His obsession for minimalist vineyard practices and dry farming consistently resulted in low yielding vines that produced fruit of exceptional varietal character. This fruit provides a wonderful match for our winemaking philosophies, amplifying the terroir of this site. Herb Quady's favorite wine from the 2006 vintage.
