For Sweet Vya, a special base wine using Orange Muscat and Valdepenas (for its red fruit tones) was made. The botanicals consist of bark, roots, seeds, and citrus rind. Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and galangal (wild asian ginger), are some of the constituents.
