Carrera Phibra Frameset -- RepartoCorse.com Shopping Cart
The Phibra opens new vistas on the possibilitites of monocoque custom carbon construction. It combines the best of both worlds for a ride that is out of this world.
The unique Phibra is the result of recent studies made by the carrera-podium r&d department in the areas of carbon technology and design.
The structure of the Phibra is created using the innovative technique of a laminated “2b” double arc block that combines the performances of a monocoque frame (stiffness, light weight, comfort, long life, reliability) with the possibility of customizing the frame according to the rider's measurements.

Carrera Estremo Light Frameset -- Carrera's high standards of production and it advanced knowledge of technological advances in carbon materials have made it possible to attain the strong yet light character of the Estremo Light frame.
The Estremo Light can be custom painted and ordered with an integrated seat post mast as part of the frame. To specify these options please contact Reparto Corse via email at repartocorse09@gmail.com or call 914 328 9811 to speak with Ed. Custom option sizing adds $200.00.
It weighs only 925 grams (Standard size). This weight is achieved without bringing any disadvantage whatsoever to its safety, stiffness, comfort, durability or reliability. Each frame is manufactured in perfect accord with the athleteís individual measurements. The dimensions and thickness of the tubes used to make Carrera Italian frames has been perfected over time by the evolution of their exclusive CARRERA R&D design using high-module carbon (HM) and highly resistant (HR) fibers.
They are matrix assembled and consolidated in a high pressure autoclave. The assembly is carried out using Laminated Carbon technology. The tubes are laminated by manually applying the Carbon K3 fibers, then the parts that undergo major stress are reinforced with carbon-titanium and Vectran fiber. Carrera then reinforce the sections where the accessories are to be secured with Kevlar. The composite frame achieves optimum strength after several passages through the furnace using Carrera's exclusive technique. During production the frame undergoes up to 32 measurement checks and is finally spray-painted by hand. The Monocoque Light forks weigh only 320 grams.

Pantani Corsair Frameset by Carrera -- Carrera Podium SRL announces the introduction of Pantani Bicycles in memory of famous Italian bicycle champion Marco Pantani.
The Pantani Bike was announced at Carrera-Podium headquarters July 2009 in Calcinato, Italy. After his tragic death in 2004, the family of Marco Pantani started a foundation, ONLUS in his memory. David Baifava and the Pantani family created Pantani bicycle to promote the legacy of the great champion. The foundation benefits troubled youth by creating sport programs and mentors for them. Proceeds from the sale of each Pantani bicycle goes to ONLUS.
Born through project studies of highest technology, this frame has been designed to respect determined values of reaction and resistance, strictly necessary for its professional use.
The carbon monocoque structure known as TORAY HM-HS (High Modulus – High Rigidity) is made through a monocoque print thanks to “SOLID CARBON” technology. Following this step the frame is formed in a high pressure autoclave system which compacts the fibres furthermore to guarantee a higher level of resistance against axial and torsional loads, creating also a longer lasting product. In addition to this, thanks to the careful selection of the same fibres and the absence of step-by-step assembly procedures, each and every single frame has the same quality and performance. The monocoque production system includes the dimensional standardisation of the frame, which is made in five different sizes and adaptable to the different structural qualities of an athlete.
The oversize tubing used (HM T 700) has a hexagonal cross-section to insure a better absorption of vibrations given by imperfections on the road surface, without however compromising the structural stiffness of the precise control one needs on a bike. The integrated seatpost has a drop shaped aerodynamic profile as a cut-out to fit around the rear wheel. This is so that the wheel is brought closer to the front triangle, with the result of a higher reacting frame when one force pedals standing up on the bike. The horizontal rear tubing has a variable geometry, contributing to a more efficient energy transfer without there being any power-loss.
Technical characteristics:
* Made with monocoque “SOLID CARBON” “technology using TORAY 30T MR60 3k HM (High Modulus) carbon fibre. Accessories and inserts are anchored during the printing of the frame, not afterwards.
* Fibres compacted using a high-pressure autoclave system for the consolidation of the assembled structure.
* Mechanical and performance values lab-tested and controlled on specific bicycle test machinery.
* Integrated headset 1-1/8” / 1,5”
* Drop-shaped integrated seatpost.
* Average weight ( M size frame ): 1,110 Kg
* Carbon MDP straight fork (monocoque), weight: 390 grams

Carrera Frisco Frameset -- The “Solid Carbon” technology used in the Frisco is the most classic and most tried technology for producing frame structures in carbon.
The Frisco is shown in 3 color options, but may be ordered in any color available in the the Carrera catalog. To order a custom paint please contact Reparto Corse via email at repartocorse@gmail.com or call 914 328 9811 to speak with Ed.
The result of Carrera's construction technique on the Frisco is a component, manufactured in just one stage, without any other mountings or procedures and without interruptions to the carbon fibers that can in this way fully enable all their qualities. The carbon fibers are high module (HM) and high resistance (HR), assembled in standard sized moulds and consolidated in high pressure autoclave employing the “sack” technique. The interweaving and the quality of the fibers are varied and reinforcements in kevlar are also applied to the most critical parts in order to increase the mechanical resistance and optimize strength, stiffness and low weight. The new generation RC2 wishbone is applied to the front monocoque frame and is also used with the Estremo and Ulisse series. The production of components using moulds allow us to attain high quality with complete control over the consolidation of the materials. We take great care of the finish and maintain a moderate cost. Frames are spray-painted by hand and use a full carbon Speedcarbon fork.
