The dimensions and thickness of the tubes used to make Carrera Italian frames has been perfected over time by the evolution of their exclusive CARRERA R&D design using high-module carbon (HM) and highly resistant (HR) fibers. They are matrix assembled and consolidated in a high pressure autoclave. The assembly is carried out using Laminated Carbon technology. The tubes are laminated by manually applying the Carbon K3 fibers, then the parts that undergo major stress are reinforced with carbon-titanium and Vectran fiber.
