Tasting Notes |
| Sangiovese is the primary grape grown in the famous Tuscan appellation of Chianti. Sangiovese was brought to California by Italian immigrants, many of whom settled in the Napa Valley. We enjoy this 2006 estate-grown Sangiovese for its approachable, easygoing style. Its delicate fruit flavors, attractive nose with hints of plum and nutmeg, make for a balanced, food friendly wine that will enhance many meals. Our 2006 Sangiovese is a natural and winning wine choice to pair with Italian themed menus. Fewer than 500 cases of this charming wine were bottled exclusively for our wine club and visitors to the winery. |
