Pasilla de Oaxaca Chili Cheese Grits :

The creamy grits are enhanced with the savory addition of cheddar cheese, then spiked up Texas-level with the sultry-smoky flavor of Fischer & Wieser's Texas on the Plate Pasilla de Oaxaca Chile Sauce. Cooked Quaker Quick Grits for 4 servings
4 ounces Velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
6 slices peppered bacon, cooked until crisp, drained and chopped fine
6 green onions, chopped, including green tops
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup Fischer & Wieser's Texas on the Plate Pasilla de Oaxaca Chile Sauce
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter a 9" x 13" baking dish; set aside. Cook the grits according to package directions. Remove from heat and quickly whisk in the cheese, chopped bacon and green onions until cheese is melted and well blended. Whisk in the beaten egg and Pasilla de Oaxaca Chili Sauce. Turn mixture out into prepared baking dish and bake in preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until top is lightly browned and grits are set. Serve hot. Serves four.
