The aroma has a nice sweetness of ripe black cherries, black berry, and cedar. Secondary notes of anise, spice and tobacco make the aroma complex and interesting. On the palate there is the flavor of black cherry and a sweetness coming from the fully ripe mountain fruit. The structure is smooth with round Mount Veeder tannins present.
