<font face=Arial><font size=3><B><U>Tasting Notes</b></u>
<br>This wine is on the deeper side of the color spectrum for blush wines. It only spent 8 hours in skin contact before being bled off, but it did its business quite effectively in that amount of time.
<P>Full-flavored with enough acidity to remain refreshing - a key demand of mine if I'm having rose! I love these wines during all but the coldest of winter months. Notes of red berries and sweet spice form the alluring personality of this wine.
<P><B>50 cases produced</b>
<P>This wine comes from Elkhorn Peak's estate pinot noir vineyards on the southern end of Napa. Winemaker Kent Rasmussen has crafted a highly affordable Napa Rose.
<P><B><U>The Winemaker</b></u>
<br>Kent Rasmussen is the Owner/Winemaker for Elkhorn Peak. Kent was a pioneer in Carneros, being among the first to plant Burgundian varietals there in 1979 when everyone told him the area was too harsh for good grapes. His eponymous label is found on some great, affordable wines, along with his Ramsay and Esoterica labels.
